The Symbiosis Entrance Test (SET) is a common written test for the admission processes at the undergraduate institutes of Symbiosis International University established as under Section 3 of the UGC Act 1956 vide notification No.F.9.12/2001 U.3 of the Govt. of India. Candidates aspiring to pursue an undergraduate programme at Symbiosis should carefully follow the actions to be taken in 3 stages mentioned below:

Stage-1: Registration and Payment for SET

Register online at set-test website

You may register for one paper in the morning (for example, Law or Design), and one paper in the afternoon session (for example, Engineering, General or Health Sciences).

For Engineering and Health Sciences, if a candidate applies for seek admission on the basis of test other than SET, he/she need not register for SET; rather he/she may apply directly to the concerned institute.

You need to upload a scanned photograph of yours at the time of registration.

Follow the instructions for payment of non-refundable test fee of Rs.1500/- on the SET Website

Print "Admit Card" directly from the SET website.

Bring the admit card and a photo identity proof to the test centre. It will be authenticated during the Test. (Candidates shall preserve the authenticated admit card till the admission processes of the desired Symbiosis institutes are over.)

If the admit card is lost, no duplicate admit card will be issued.

Appear for the Test.

Stage-2: Registration and Payment the desired SIU institute(s)/Programme(s).

Duration: The duration for SET for direct admission is 150 minutes.

The SET is an objective test.

Papers: The SET is conducted in two sessions for a total of FIVE question papers. A candidate may choose to apply for one paper in each session.

The SET is an aptitude test and is objective in nature (for all the papers). Each question presents four options as answers. There is no negative marking for wrong answers. All sections are mandatory.

4. SET Results declared 19^th May on www.set-test.org. Call for PI-WAT on www.scmspune.ac.in 23^rd May 2017
5. Appear for PI-WAT on the given date and time at your selected centre. Bring essential documents as asked for. PI-WAT Dates Pune (27^th to 29^th May 2017) & Noida (31^st May to 3^rd June 2017)
6. Based on SET & PIWAT scores First Merit List is drawn and call for admission is uploaded on SCMS website on 10^th June 2017.
7. Intimation sent on your email along with offer letter for admission on 10^th June 2017 onwards.
8. Fill up online Application form on the website link using password sent on your email.
