SYMBIOSIS’ MBA - EVENT MANAGEMENT IN SPORTS

The course provides students with an insight into the strategic management of sports events. Comprehensive coverage, from start to finish, of the event planning process for sports events of all scales, from smaller events to mega-events will be provided. Hands on training will be offered and would train the students in implementing strategies for success in sports events over the short and long-term. Case study approach for real-world insight will also be used.

SYMBIOSIS’ MBA - HUMAN RESOURCE MANAGEMENT IN SPORTS

The course emphasizes the fields of human resource management and the sport industry. Greater emphasis is placed on managerial competencies, the strategic importance of human resource management, internal marketing, volunteerism and the implications of organizational justice.

SYMBIOSIS’ MBA - SPORTS TECHNOLOGY

Students opting for Sports Technology would look at developments in the world of sport, and explore the way in which technology has enhanced both the players and the supporters experience. The course discusses electronic decision-making, advances in technology that have improved equipment, sportswear, athletes training and performance. Candidate should be a graduate from any statutory university with a minimum of 50% marks (45% for SC/ ST) at graduation level. Candidates appearing for final year examinations can also apply, but their admission will be subject to obtaining a minimum of 50% marks (45% for SC/ ST) at qualifying examination.

Indian Students: All eligible candidates will appear for the Personal Interaction and Writing Ability Test (PIWAT) process.

HOW TO APPLY IN SYMBIOSIS’ MBA (Sports Management) PROGRAMME @ SYMBIOSIS SCHOOL OF SPORTS SCIENCES:

For seeking admission to the Symbiosis School Of Sports Sciences students should complete the following procedure --

STEP I

The applicant must register and pay online for SNAP (Symbiosis National Aptitude Test) Examination, 2016. SNAP 2016 test fee is INR 1500/-. This is not refundable. For more details please visit SNAPTEST website

STEP II

While registering for SNAP, applicant has to also apply for SSSS in the same application form. A registration fee of Rs. 1000/- is to be paid to SSSS for each programme that the aspirant wishes to apply. This is mandatory, without which the applicant will not be considered for short-listing for the GE (Group Exercise) PI-WAT (Personal Interview and Writing Ability Test) process for the respective programme(s).
