Graduate of a Statutory University with 50% marks (45% for SC/ST) at graduation level. Candidates passing degree examination by part-time / correspondence / external course / distance learning or in one sitting are not eligible.

How to Apply for SIHS Pune Direct MBA admission 2017

For seeking direct mba admission to the Symbiosis Institute of Health Sciences (SIHS) students should complete the following procedure:

Step I:

The applicant must register and pay online for SNAP (Symbiosis National Aptitude Test) Examination, 2016. SNAP 2016 test fee is INR 1500/-. This is not refundable

Step II:

While registering for SNAP, applicant has to also apply for SIHS in the same application form. A registration fee of Rs. 1000/- is to be paid to SIHS for each programme that the aspirant wishes to apply. This is mandatory, without which the applicant will not be considered for short-listing for the GE (Group Exercise) PI-WAT (Personal Interview and Writing Ability Test) process for the respective programme(s)

Award of degree- - Direct MBA Admission in MBA at SIHS Pune

The SIU will award the Master of Business Administration in Hospital & Healthcare Management, MBA (HHM) at the end of the two year programme to all successful candidates. A detailed grade sheet and transcript will also be issued to each successful student.

Examination Pattern- - Direct MBA Admission in MBA at SIHS Pune

Students will be evaluated throughout the two years of the programme by periodic tests as well as assignments. Consideration will be given for the student's contribution to classroom discussions, written reports, reading and other assignments. The evaluation of the student's performance is done by means of continuous on-going internal evaluations as well as at the end of each semester external examination will be conducted by SIU.

Standard of passing- - Direct MBA Admission in MBA at SIHS Pune

The performance of students of the MBA (HHM) programme is evaluated on the Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) system. A minimum Grade Point (GP) of 1.6 in every course and a minimum CGPA of 2.00 at the end of the programme are mandatory for the student to be eligible for the award of the degree by SIU as a successful candidate. Theory & Practicals will be separate heads of passing. Internal and External Examinations are also separate heads of passing.
