An excellent library having access to more than 26216 books,
38 periodicals and 2246 CDs & 522 DVD's. In house publications, wide
variety of data based on wide variety of management subjects are available for
students. These includes EBSCO, EMERALD, JSTOR, Science Direct, Euro Monitor,
Bloomberg, INDIASTAT.COM, HBS Cases, databases of CMIE, etc
Computer lab
Fully equipped six computer laboratories with about 278 work
stations are available to students for teaching as well as practice. 24 hours
Wi-Fi Internet connectivity is available in the academic and residential
blocks.
Canteen
Mess facility and a well-stocked cafeteria are available on
campus and all students are dining members of the mess. The campus also has a
Nescafe outlet and juice shop. Further, there is a provision store which caters
to the basic daily needs of the students.
Health
The campus has a swimming pool, Basket ball & Volley ball
courts, Gymnasium, etc. The gym is well-equipped and employs qualified
instructors. The yoga centre helps students de-stress and attain physical and
mental well-being. The institute provides excellent health care and medical
facilities. A health care centre is managed by the Symbiosis Institute of
Health Sciences (SIHS), with a residential medical officer on the campus. SIHS
has a team of specialized doctors who conduct the (compulsory) annual health
check-up. Every student is insured under the Mediclaim and Road Traffic
Accident Policy.
Course
The two year full time residential MBA programme at SCMHRD is
designed to impart and nurture leadership skills and develop entrepreneurial
abilities. It is divided into four semesters of five months each. Along with
this, students also work on a two-month long summer internship project. The
programme structure comprises of two key components: Core subjects and Elective
subjects. In addition to this, every student has to compulsorily select and
study any one foreign language offered by the institute.
I) MBA
(Two Years, Full Time, Residential, Post Graduate Degree
Programme)
SCMHRD offers MBA Degree Programme and specializes in
producing quality talent in the fields of HR, Marketing, Finance and
Operations. The institute believes in contributing towards knowledge generation
& dissemination. This is done by imparting ethical and value-based learning
which thereby contributes to the larger objective of the Symbiosis
International University. The intense academic curriculum is designed such that
it prepares students to deliver their best. Apart from academic excellence, the
institute also focuses on equipping the students with the latest technical and
professional competencies relevant for the corporate world. It also provides opportunities
to develop their leadership and entrepreneurial skills through an array of

Programme)
Infrastructure has long been seen as a sector with tremendous
potential in India. In the last few years the sector has seen an unprecedented
upsurge with several government and private sector initiatives. SCMHRD offers this programme which focuses on
creating project development and management skills for infrastructure
projects. The course curriculum has been
designed by industry experts, in order to expose our students to industry
specific challenges and opportunities, within the spectrum of the
Infrastructure sector. Subject covered under this programme aim to develop and
hone the skills required to operate successfully in the infrastructure industry
(such as Tender, Bidding, Contracting and Claims management, et al), along with
providing sector specific insights, namely on Transportation, Energy and Social
Sector amongst others. At the end of this programme, our students are industry
ready and are committed 'To Make Infrastructure Happen'.
Eligibility
A graduate from any statutory university with a minimum of
50% aggregate marks (45% marks for SC/ST candidates)
Engineering Graduate (B.E. / B. Tech. in Civil, Mechanical,
Electrical, Oil and Gas, Power, Infrastructure, Power Engineering and

Master of Business Administration (MBA) - General
The flagship program of SCMHRD is the two year full-time
residential MBA - General that is offered over 4 Semesters. It requires you to
undertake 100 credits across various functional areas. You are given the power
to customise your MBA through a basket of electives. Hence “you can learn what

How to apply
For seeking admission to the Symbiosis Centre for Management
and Human Resource Development students should complete the following
procedure:
Step I:
The applicant must register and pay online for SNAP
(Symbiosis National Aptitude Test) Examination, 2016. SNAP 2016 test fee is INR
1500/-. This is not refundable.
Step II:
While registering for SNAP, applicant has to also apply for
SCMHRD in the same application form. A registration fee of Rs. 1000/- is to be
paid to SCMHRD for each programme that the aspirant wishes to apply. This is
mandatory, without which the applicant will not be considered for short-listing
for the GE (Group Exercise) PI-WAT (Personal Interview and Writing Ability
Test) process for the respective programme(s).
Mode of Payment
The candidate may pay directly through Master or Visa card
online by following the instructions on the SNAP website after the
registration.
